This is video exploration of the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra’s rendition of “Morning Mood” which deconstructs not only the creation of the music but also the relationship between the audience and orchestra. I did this in my role as Design Director at Insight Creative and on this project we were fortunate to be able to partner with the NZSO shooting them as the rehearsed in the MFC, Wellington. I was lead creative on the project also acting as DOP as I shot it with the help of Bruce Foster and David Bedggood.
The resulting video was a central component in an interactive promotion jointly produced by Insight Creative and the NZSO. You can still see the interactive on Insight Creative’s website. The interactive was a finalist in the 2015 Best Awards.
